School History

Gangdong Elementary School is located at No. 1-1, Shuangzhangbu, Gangdong Village, Xigang District, Tainan City. Due to local demand, on August 1, 1977, Xigang Elementary School was divided along Zhongshan Road into east and west campuses. The west campus retained the original name, while the east campus was named Gangdong Elementary School.
